was founded in 2004 by Daniela Michel and Alexander Kleider with the aim of producing feature-length documentaries about challenging issues which both captivate the viewer and fundamentally question social relationships.

Born in Böblingen in 1975. Studied Communication Studies at the Free University of Berlin. Since 2001 he has made feature-length documentaries as well as contributions for cinema release and television (ZDF, ARTE). He has been a lecturer in documentary filmmaking since 2004.

Born in Stuttgart in 1975. Studied Arts, Film Studies and International Relations at the London Guildhall University, England. Since 2001 she has made feature-length documentaries and contributions for cinema release and television (ZDF, ARTE). She has been a lecturer in documentary filmmaking since 2004.

Writer and freelance journalist

Born in Onitsha, Nigeria in 1975. Studied Political Science, History and Sociology in Berlin and Cape Town. He contributes regularly to various publications such as ver.di-publik, jungle World and telepolis, writing about the political and social development of South Africa. For the summer of 2009, the publisher Assoziation A (Berlin) has scheduled the publication of the anthology “Südafrika nach dem Ende der Apartheid - Die Grenzen der Befreiung” (“South Africa after the end of apartheid - the limits of liberation”), which he has edited together with Jens Erik Ambacher.

Eckes Malz

Born in 1962. Professional studies in flute, piano, violin, percussion and composition. After completing an apprenticeship as a piano maker in 1984, he performed in live music events with Donald Tillman, Six was Nine, Lyxdie Auvray, Freddy Wonder and many others, as well as composing soundtracks for theatre and film (Tatort, Häupter meiner Lieben, Aimee and Jaguar, Emil and the Detectives, Sumo Bruno, etc.).

Marco Müller
MARCO MÜLLER

Born in Gütersloh in 1969. Studied Dramaturgy at the University of Erlangen and Direction and Screenplay at the Film Academy in Baden-Württemberg. The short films that he created there were screened at numerous festivals. Following the completion of his studies, he first worked as a writer for TV series, before making his first feature-length film BREAKING THE RULES (Filmfestival di Palazzo Venezia "First Prize Overall" 2006).
