About the Film
MY HOME IS MY CASTLE tells the stories of people living under vastly different conditions. Szabina is fighting for a future as a musician while social barriers constantly challenge her dreams. Balint grows up in a wealthy family inside a gated community, struggling under enormous pressure and expectations. At the same time, Kazmer and Ica are trying to survive in the forest. Like many homeless people, they have built a shelter there from simple materials. When the city orders the eviction of the forest settlements, they risk losing the last place they can call home.
A powerful documentary about inequality, different realities of life, and the question of what home truly means.
